Prepare the Tofu
Carefully remove the silken tofu from its packaging and drain any excess water. Place it on a serving plate.

Chop the Green Onion
Finely chop the green onion and sprinkle it over the tofu.

Fry the Niboshi
In a small pan, heat the lard over medium heat. Add the niboshi and fry until they are crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix the ponzu sauce with chili oil to taste.

Assemble the Dish
Pour the ponzu and chili oil mixture over the tofu. Top with the crispy niboshi, sesame seeds, and grated fresh ginger.
