Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Skirt Steak

Marinate the skirt steak with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Spring Rice

In a pot, bring water to a boil, add the spring rice, and cook according to package instructions until tender. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated skirt steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  4. 4

    Heat the Refried Beans

In a small pot, heat the refried beans over medium heat until warmed through.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Tortillas

Warm the tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, serve the sliced skirt steak alongside a portion of spring rice, refried beans, and warm tortillas. Drizzle mole poblano sauce over the steak and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve with lime wedges.
