Taco Asada Ingredients

Method

Taco Asada Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the flank steak and ensure it's well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the flank steak from the marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let the steak rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side or until they are pliable. Slice the grilled steak against the grain into thin strips.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Tacos

Place a few strips of steak on each tortilla. Top with diced onion, chopped cilantro, salsa, and avocado slices. Serve immediately.
