Prepare the Glass
Rim the edge of a chilled glass with lime juice and dip it into salt to coat the rim.

Muddle the Strawberries and Habanero
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh strawberries and the habanero pepper (cut in half, seeds removed for less heat if desired) until well combined.

Mix the Cocktail
Add the tequila silver, orange liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Optionally, garnish with a slice of strawberry or a lime wedge.
