Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Tortilla Chips
If you're using homemade tortilla chips, fry or bake them until they are crispy. If using store-bought, simply set aside.
- 2
Heat the Tomatillo Sauce
In a large skillet, pour the green tomatillo sauce and heat it over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Add the crispy tortilla chips to the skillet with the tomatillo sauce. Gently stir to coat the chips in the sauce. Let them cook for about 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- 4
Add Pulled Chicken
Stir in the pulled chicken, mixing thoroughly to combine with the chips and sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through.
- 5
Serve
Remove the skillet from heat. Serve the chilaquiles on plates topped with Mexican cream and crumbled queso fresco.
