Asada Steak Ingredients

Method

Asada Steak Directions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the skirt steak to the marinade, ensuring it's well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Avocado Sauce

In a blender, combine the avocado, cilantro, garlic powder, lime juice, and water. Blend until smooth, adding more water if necessary to achieve desired consistency. Season with salt to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Grill the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with the avocado sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
