For the Wonton Chips

Method

For the Wonton Chips

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wonton Chips

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut each wonton wrapper diagonally into triangles.

  2. 2

    Bake the Chips

Arrange the wonton triangles on a baking sheet in a single layer. Brush lightly with vegetable oil on both sides. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.

  3. 3

    Season the Chips

Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with togarashi seasoning while still warm. Allow to cool slightly.

For the Crab Rangoon Dip

  1. 4

    Mix the Base

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  2. 5

    Add Crab and Seasonings

Fold in the crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.

  3. 6

    Bake the Dip

Transfer the crab mixture to a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

  4. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with the togarashi-dusted wonton chips.
