Steak

Lobster

Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks and season both sides with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned ribeye steaks. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Lobster

  1. 4

    Prepare the Lobster Tails

Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster tails lengthwise to expose the meat.

  2. 5

    Make the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.

  3. 6

    Cook the Lobster

Preheat the grill or broiler. Brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter. Grill or broil the lobster tails for 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Surf & Turf

Slice the rested ribeye steaks and arrange them on a plate alongside the grilled lobster tails. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the top and garnish with additional parsley if desired.
