Shrimp Preparation

    Boil the Shrimp

    In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the sliced lemon and Old Bay seasoning to the water.

    Cook the Shrimp

    Once the water is boiling, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

    Chill the Shrimp

    Remove the shrimp from the pot and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

    Drain and Dry

    Once cooled, drain the shrimp and pat them dry with paper towels.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

    Mix the Sauce

    In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of prepared horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.

    Adjust Flavor

    Taste the cocktail sauce and add hot sauce if desired for extra heat. Mix again to combine.

Serving

    Plate and Serve

    Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter and serve with the cocktail sauce on the side.
