Preparation

Prepare the Vegetables
Wash and dice the zucchini and red bell pepper into small cubes. Set aside.

Prepare the Shrimp
In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and let cool, then chop into smaller pieces.

Prepare the Crab
If using fresh crab, steam it until cooked and then shred it. If using canned crab, drain it well.

Prepare the Avocado
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh out with a spoon and dice it into small cubes.

Chop the Cilantro
Wash the cilantro leaves, chop them finely, and set aside.
Assembly

Layer the Ingredients
In a small serving glass or bowl, start by layering the diced zucchini at the bottom.

Add Shrimp and Crab
Next, add a layer of chopped shrimp followed by a layer of crab meat.

Add Red Pepper and Avocado
Top the crab layer with the diced red bell pepper and then add a layer of diced avocado.

Sprinkle the chopped cilantro on top and serve immediately with crisp tortilla chips on the side.
