Main Ingredients
Drawn Butter
Method
Preparing the Lobster
- 1
Preheat the Broiler
Preheat your oven's broiler to high, ensuring the rack is about 6 inches away from the heating element.
- 2
Prepare the Lobster Tails
Using a sharp kitchen shears, cut the lobster tails down the middle of the shell, from the top to the tail. Carefully pull the meat out of the shell and place it on top, keeping it attached at the base.
- 3
Season the Lobster
Sprinkle the lobster meat with salt, paprika, and lemon juice to taste. Ensure the meat is evenly coated.
Making the Drawn Butter
- 4
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Do not let it boil.
- 5
Infuse with Garlic
Add the minced garlic cloves to the melted butter and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the garlic to infuse its flavor without burning.
- 6
Finish the Drawn Butter
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and color.
Broiling the Lobster
- 7
Broil the Lobster
Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned. Baste with the drawn butter halfway through cooking.
- 8
Serve
Remove the lobster tails from the oven and serve immediately with the drawn butter on the side for dipping.
