Method

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Drain the Pasta

Once cooked, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and drain the linguine. Set aside.

Preparing the Lobster Sauce

  1. 3

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  2. 4

    Add Lobster Meat

Stir in the lobster meat and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  3. 5

    Create Creamy Sauce

Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. 6

    Add Cheese and Seasonings

Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and incorporated. Add lemon juice and black pepper, stirring to combine.

  5. 7

    Combine with Pasta

Add the drained linguine to the sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.

  6. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and garnish with chopped chives. Serve immediately.
