Preparing the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Using a serrated knife, slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.

Grill the Bread
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the bread slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Preparing the Topping

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Prepare the Basil
Rinse the fresh basil leaves and chop them roughly. Add to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Mozzarella
Cut the mozzarella cheese into small cubes and add it to the mixing bowl.

Mince the Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves, then add them to the bowl with the other ingredients.

Season the Mixture
Add salt, black pepper, and balsamic vinegar to the mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
Assembling the Bruschetta

Top the Bread
Once the bread is grilled, remove it from the grill and let it cool slightly. Top each slice with the tomato and mozzarella mixture.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately.
