Method
Cauliflower Wings
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- 3
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow excess batter to drip off.
- 4
Bake the Cauliflower
Place the battered cauliflower florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
Buffalo Sauce
- 5
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and salt. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through.
- 6
Coat the Wings
Once the cauliflower wings are baked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
