Prepare the Lobster
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole Maine lobster to the pot, ensuring the water covers the lobster completely.

Cook the Lobster
Boil the lobster for about 8-10 minutes per pound. For a typical 1-pound lobster, this should take about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, remove the lobster and place it in a bowl or on a plate.

Cook the Corn
In the same boiling water, add the corn on the cob and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove and set aside.

Prepare the Potato
While the corn is cooking, peel and cube the potato. Add the potato to the boiling water and cook for about 10-12 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Season with salt and black pepper.
