Preparation of Seafood Mixture
1. Chop the Garlic and Parsley
Mince the garlic cloves finely and chop the fresh parsley. Set aside.
2. Combine Seafood Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped imitation crab meat, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
Preparation of Spread Mixture
3. Mix Spread Ingredients
In another bowl, combine the mayonnaise and shredded cheese. Stir until well mixed.
4. Combine Both Mixtures
Add the seafood mixture to the spread mixture and combine thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Assembly and Baking
5. Prepare the Bread
Slice the baguette or French bread in half lengthwise. Place the halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
6. Spread the Mixture
Evenly spread the seafood and cheese mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
7. Bake
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the prepared bread in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
