Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preparing the Lobster Tails

Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the middle. Be careful not to cut the meat. Gently pull the meat out from the shell and place it on top, leaving the base attached.

  2. 2

    Preparing the Vegetables

Peel the potato and cut it into quarters. Remove the husk from the corn.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cooking the Lobster Tails

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over the lobster meat.

  2. 4

    Grilling the Lobster Tails

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the lobster tails on the grill, shell side down, and cook for about 8-10 minutes, brushing with the butter mixture regularly, until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 5

    Boiling the Vegetables

In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add the potato quarters and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the corn to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Drain the water once the vegetables are tender.

  4. 6

    Serving

Remove the lobster tails from the grill, squeeze fresh lemon juice over them, and serve alongside the boiled potato and corn.
