Crab Cakes
Crab Claws Skewers
Method
Crab Cakes
- 1
Prepare the Mixture
In a bowl, combine the imitation crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- 2
Form the Cakes
Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
- 3
Fry the Crab Cakes
In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the crab cakes, cooking them in batches if necessary. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
