Fried Chicken Cutlet

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch). Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder on both sides.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip into the eggs, and finally coat with bread crumbs. Press the crumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken cutlets. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Drain and Serve

Remove the cutlets from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
