Method

Preparing the Grilled Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Coat the salmon fillets evenly in the marinade. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C). Ensure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the grill, skin side down. Grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing the Asparagus

  1. 4

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and rinse them under cold water. Pat dry with a towel.

  2. 5

    Season and Grill

In a mixing bowl, drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Grill the asparagus on the grill for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and lightly charred.

Making the Lemon Butter

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Do not let it brown.

  2. 7

    Add Lemon and Parsley

Once the butter is melted, stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley. Mix well and remove from heat.
