Brioche French Toast

Toppings

Method

Brioche French Toast

  1. 1

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    Soak the Brioche

Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated. Let the bread soak for about 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the French Toast

In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the soaked brioche slices and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Repeat with the remaining butter and bread slices.

Seasonal Fruit Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Fruit Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the mixed seasonal fruits, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook until the fruits release their juices and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Plate the French Toast

Place three pieces of French toast on a plate. Drizzle warm maple syrup over the toast.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Dust with powdered sugar and spoon the seasonal fruit sauce on top. Serve with your choice of bacon or sausage on the side.
