Method

Preparation of Meat

  1. 1

    Prepare Ground Beef or Chicken

If using ground beef, season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. If using marinated chicken breast, ensure it is fully marinated before cooking.

  2. 2

    Shape Patties

Form the seasoned ground beef or marinated chicken breast into four equal-sized patties.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear.

  2. 4

    Toast the Buns

During the last minute of cooking, place the burger buns cut side down on the grill or skillet to toast until golden brown.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Layer Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer the cooked patty, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles.

  2. 6

    Complete the Burger

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Preparing the Side (Optional)

  1. 7

    Cook Fries or Coleslaw

If serving with fries, prepare them according to package instructions. For coleslaw, mix shredded cabbage with coleslaw dressing and let it chill for at least 30 minutes.
