Prepare the Cheese
Shred the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses using a grater or food processor and set aside.

Prepare the Jalapeños
If using fresh jalapeños, slice them into thin rings. If using pickled jalapeños, drain them and set aside.

Layer the Nachos
On a large oven-safe platter or baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses generously over the chips, followed by the sliced jalapeños.

Melt the Cheese
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the nachos in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.

Serve the Nachos
Remove the nachos from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Serve them hot with a side of salsa for dipping.
