Prepare the Pork
In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the pork shoulder. Place the pork in a slow cooker.

Add Liquid Ingredients
Drizzle the liquid smoke and apple cider vinegar over the pork in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the BBQ sauce. Let it warm through for an additional 30 minutes.

Assemble the Sandwiches
Layer the pulled BBQ pork on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with two slices of cooked bacon and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Place the top half of the bun on each sandwich.
