Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Romaine
Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Dry it using a salad spinner or by patting it with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Parmesan and Croutons
Grate the Parmesan cheese using a fine grater and add it to the bowl with the chopped Romaine. Toss in the croutons and mix gently to combine.
Dressing Preparation
- 3
Make the Dressing
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- 4
Season the Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to the dressing mixture according to your taste preferences. Whisk again to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Combine and Serve
- 5
Dress the Salad
Pour the prepared dressing over the salad ingredients in the bowl. Toss gently until all the lettuce, Parmesan, and croutons are evenly coated with the dressing.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Caesar salad immediately in individual bowls or plates. Optionally, you can sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
