Prepare the Chicken

Cut the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Add the chicken pieces and mix until well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour and cornstarch.
Fry the Chicken

Heat Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Bread the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour and cornstarch mixture until well coated.

Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the breaded chicken pieces in the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
