Kilted Burger

Delicious tacos filled with seasoned beef.

Asada Tacos

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Scottish whisky, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Prepare the Burger Patties

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

Form the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Cook the Patties

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Add the Cheese

Toast the brioche buns if desired. Place the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the buns, add your favorite toppings, and finish with the top halves of the buns.

Assemble the Burger

Brioche burger buns

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lime juice. Add the flank steak and coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

Marinate the Beef

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Cook the Steak

Warm the corn tortillas on a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side. Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips. Assemble the tacos by placing steak slices on the tortillas and topping with chopped cilantro, diced onion, avocado slices, sour cream, and salsa.
