Wild Mushrooms & Broiled Goat Cheese
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Sauté the Mushrooms
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the wild mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 7-10 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
- 2
Broil the Goat Cheese
Preheat the broiler. Place the softened goat cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Broil for about 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
- 3
Assemble the Dish
To serve, place a piece of herb flatbread on a plate. Top with a generous portion of sautéed wild mushrooms and a dollop of broiled goat cheese. Repeat for each serving.
