Juicing the Lemons
Roll the lemons on a countertop to make them easier to juice. Cut the lemons in half and use a juicer to extract the juice into a measuring cup, ensuring you remove any seeds.

Making the Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.

Mixing the Lemonade
In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well to combine.
