Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and then sprinkle over the chicken wings. Toss to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until fully combined.

  4. 4

    Dip the Wings

Dip each seasoned wing into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off before transferring to a plate.

  5. 5

    Coat with Bread Crumbs

Roll each wing in the bread crumbs until fully coated. Place the coated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 6

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 7

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Making the Sauces

  1. 8

    Prepare the Hot Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to combine and heat through.

  2. 9

    BBQ Sauce Option

If you prefer BBQ sauce, simply warm the BBQ sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through.

Serving

  1. 10

    Toss Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl and toss with the hot sauce mixture or BBQ sauce until evenly coated.

  2. 11

    Serve

Serve the wings immediately with celery sticks and your choice of dipping sauce.
