Method

Baked Potato

  1. 1

    Bake the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and pierce the russet potatoes with a fork several times. Place them directly on the oven rack and bake for about 45-60 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a knife.

  2. 2

    Season the Potatoes

Once baked, remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool slightly. Cut a slit in the top of each potato and fluff the insides with a fork. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, salt, and pepper to each potato.

Baked Beans

  1. 3

    Heat the Baked Beans

Open the cans of baked beans and pour them into a saucepan. Heat over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until warmed through. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Mac & Cheese

  1. 4

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 5

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, and continue to whisk until the mixture thickens. Stir in the shredded cheese, salt, and pepper until the cheese is melted and smooth.

  3. 6

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well coated. Keep warm until ready to serve.

Smoked Pork

  1. 7

    Prepare the Smoked Pork

In a skillet or saucepan, heat the pulled smoked pork over medium heat until warmed through. Drizzle with BBQ sauce and stir to combine. Heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Garnish

  1. 8

    Prepare Green Onions

Chop the green onions finely and set aside for garnishing.
