Method

Baked Potato

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly, then prick each potato with a fork several times. Rub each potato with a little butter, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Bake the Potatoes

Place the prepared potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.

  3. 3

    Finish the Baked Potatoes

Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool slightly. Slice them open and add a dollop of butter, more salt, and pepper to taste.

Baked Beans

  1. 4

    Heat the Baked Beans

In a saucepan over medium heat, pour in the canned baked beans and heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally. This should take about 10-15 minutes.

Mac & Cheese

  1. 5

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 6

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens.

  3. 7

    Combine Everything

Stir in the cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix until fully coated.

Smoked Brisket

  1. 8

    Prepare the Brisket

If the smoked brisket is cold, warm it up in a low oven (around 250°F or 120°C) for about 30 minutes, or until heated through.

  2. 9

    Slice the Brisket

Once warmed, slice the brisket against the grain into thin pieces.

  3. 10

    Add BBQ Sauce

Drizzle the sliced brisket with BBQ sauce before serving.

Garnish

  1. 11

    Prepare the Green Onions

Wash and finely chop the green onions. Set them aside for garnishing the dish.
