Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the farfalle pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Salmon
Season the Scottish salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Sauce Preparation

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Make the Sauce
Add the tomato sauce and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Add Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the sauce. Stir to combine and let simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
