Prepare the Torte

Melt the Chocolate
In a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Beat Eggs and Sugar
In a separate large bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until fluffy and pale in color, about 3-5 minutes.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the melted chocolate and vanilla extract to the egg mixture, stirring gently to combine.

Bake the Torte
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.

Cool and Serve
Allow the torte to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Serve warm.

Slice the warm torte into wedges and place on serving plates.
