Prepare the Seafood
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, scallops, mussels, and cod chunks. Rinse under cold water and set aside.

Dice the onion, red bell pepper, and tomatoes. Mince the garlic and chop the parsley. Clean the mussels thoroughly under cold water.

Add Vegetables and Spices
Add the diced red bell pepper, tomatoes, bay leaves, and red pepper flakes to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers soften.

Incorporate Liquids
Pour in the fish stock (or clam juice), white wine, and crushed tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

Finish with Parsley
Once the seafood is cooked through, stir in the chopped parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Remove bay leaves before serving.
