Cooking the Chicken and Vegetables

Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breast with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.

Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breast and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.

Cook the Broccoli and Mushrooms
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the broccoli florets and mushrooms, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender and the mushrooms are cooked through.

Boil the Tortellini
Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Add Parmesan
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top and stir until melted and well combined. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
