Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

Toast the Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.

Chop the Tomatoes
While the bread is toasting, wash the Roma tomatoes and dice them into small pieces.

Chop the Basil
Wash the fresh basil leaves and chop them coarsely.

Mince the Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

Combine Topping Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Top the Bread
Remove the toasted bread from the oven. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread.

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the bread is still warm.
