Calamari Preparation

Prepare the Calamari
Rinse the calamari rings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Mix the Coating
In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

Coat the Calamari
Dredge the calamari rings in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Calamari
Fry the calamari in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Add the Cherry Peppers
Add the Italian cherry peppers and fresh parsley. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Spicy Marinara Sauce Preparation

Add Garlic and Spices
Stir in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Tomatoes
Add the canned crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in fresh basil just before serving.
Roasted Pepper Citrus Aioli Preparation

Mix the Aioli
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped roasted red peppers, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Whisk or blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
