Supernova Sweets

  1. 1

    Prepare the Strawberries

Wash and hull the strawberries. Place them in a blender or food processor.

  2. 2

    Blend Strawberries

Add 1 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to the strawberries in the blender. Blend until smooth and well combined.

  3. 3

    Strain the Mixture

If desired, strain the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp for a smoother texture.

  4. 4

    Freeze the Strawberry Mixture

Pour the strained strawberry mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals for about 2-3 hours until fully frozen.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Mango

Peel, pit, and chop the fresh mango into small pieces. Place them in the blender.

  6. 6

    Blend Mango

Add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to the mango pieces. Blend until smooth.

  7. 7

    Freeze the Mango Mixture

Pour the mango mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals for about 2-3 hours until fully frozen.

  8. 8

    Serve the Sorbet

Use a scoop to serve the strawberry and mango sorbet into bowls. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
