Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash the romaine lettuce under cold water, then drain and pat dry with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Make the Croutons

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes. In a bowl, combine the bread cubes with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the bread is well coated.

  3. 3

    Toast the Croutons

Spread the bread cubes onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Stir occasionally to ensure even toasting. Remove from the oven and let cool.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In the bowl with the chopped romaine lettuce, add the classic Caesar dressing. Toss well until the lettuce is evenly coated with the dressing.

  5. 5

    Add Cheese and Croutons

Grate the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and sprinkle it over the dressed lettuce. Add the toasted garlic crouton crumble on top. Gently toss the salad again to combine all ingredients.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Centauri Caesar Salad immediately for the best texture and flavor. Enjoy!
