Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut each Brussels sprout in half from top to bottom.

  2. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  3. 3

    Toss Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Spread on Baking Sheet

Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Ensure they are not overcrowded to allow for even caramelization.

  5. 5

    Roast Brussels Sprouts

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are golden brown and tender.

  6. 6

    Prepare Garlic

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, mince the garlic cloves. Set aside.

  7. 7

    Add Balsamic and Garlic

Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven. Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over them and sprinkle with minced garlic. Toss to combine.

  8. 8

    Return to Oven

Return the Brussels sprouts to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to allow the garlic to cook slightly and the balsamic to caramelize.

  9. 9

    Add Parmesan

Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine and allow the cheese to melt slightly before serving.
