Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wonton Shells

While the shrimp is marinating, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the wonton wrappers on a baking sheet and lightly brush each one with olive oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Tacos

In each crispy wonton shell, place a few shrimp, diced tomato, sliced shallots, and avocado. Top with chopped cilantro.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while the wonton shells are still warm and crispy. Enjoy your Apollo 16 Shrimp Tacos!
