Method

Waffle Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix. The batter should be slightly lumpy.

  4. 4

    Preheat Waffle Iron

Preheat your Belgian waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  5. 5

    Cook the Waffle

Pour enough batter into the preheated waffle maker to just cover the waffle grid. Close the lid and cook until the waffle is golden brown and crispy (typically about 5-7 minutes).

Topping Assembly

  1. 6

    Add Nutella

Once the waffle is cooked, carefully remove it from the waffle maker and place it on a serving plate. Spread a generous amount of Nutella over the top.

  2. 7

    Add Fruits

Evenly distribute the fresh strawberries and blueberries over the Nutella-covered waffle.

  3. 8

    Add Whipped Cream

Top the waffle with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

  4. 9

    Finish with Powdered Sugar

Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top for an extra touch of sweetness and presentation.
