Preparation

1

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove them from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

2

Prepare the Avocado

While the bacon is cooking, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Sandwich

3

Layer the Ingredients

Take two slices of sourdough bread and spread butter on one side of each slice. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the turkey slices, followed by the crispy bacon, mashed avocado, and finally, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Place the other slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.

Cooking

4

Grill the Sandwich

In the same skillet used for cooking the bacon, heat over medium heat. Carefully place the assembled sandwich in the skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

5

Serve

Once grilled to perfection, remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve hot. Enjoy your Bacon, Avocado & Turkey Grilled Cheese!
