Pasta and Shrimp

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.

3

Add Tomatoes

Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet with the shrimp, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

4

Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, and toss everything together. Stir in the chopped basil, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

5

Serve

Serve the Shrimp Penne hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil, if desired.
