Instructions
- 1
Prepare the crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- 2
Make the filling
In another mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, egg yolks, and lime zest until smooth and well combined.
- 3
Combine and bake
Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the filling is set but still slightly jiggly in the center. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
- 4
Chill and serve
Refrigerate the pie for at least 3 hours or until fully chilled. Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with lime wedges.
