Cook the Tagliatelle
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tagliatelle and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

Create the Cream Sauce
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
- 5
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained tagliatelle to the skillet with the mushroom sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta with the sauce. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Serve
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
