Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Jalapeño Infusion

In a shaker, muddle 2 slices of jalapeño pepper to release their oils and heat. Be cautious with the amount of jalapeño you use, adjusting to your spice preference.

  2. 2

    Mix the Drink

Add 2 oz of Lyre's Agave Spirit, 3 oz of pink grapefruit juice, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of agave syrup to the shaker with the muddled jalapeño. Fill the shaker with ice.

Shaking and Serving

  1. 3

    Shake the Mixture

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to blend all the ingredients and chill the mixture.

  2. 4

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled glass filled with ice. You can use a fine mesh strainer if you prefer to remove the jalapeño bits.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Garnish the Drink

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and add a sprig of fresh cilantro for a refreshing aroma.
