French Toast Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- 2
Soak the Brioche
Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, allowing them to soak for a few seconds on each side. Let excess mixture drip off.
- 3
Cook the French Toast
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the soaked brioche slices and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
Caramelized Apples Preparation
- 4
Prep the Apples
Core and slice the apples into thin wedges.
- 5
Cook the Apples
In the same skillet over medium heat, melt the 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, honey, and lemon juice. Cook until the apples are tender and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Whipped Crème Preparation
- 6
Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.
