Method

Shrimp

  1. 1

    Season the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.

Grits

  1. 3

    Cook the Grits

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in grits and salt, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

  2. 4

    Add Butter and Cheese

Once the grits are cooked, stir in the butter and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust salt to taste.

Tomato Sauce

  1. 5

    Sauté Garlic

In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  2. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Add fire-roasted diced tomatoes, chopped basil, salt, and pepper to the saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes to blend the flavors.

Brussels Sprouts

  1. 7

    Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. 8

    Roast Brussels Sprouts

Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, shaking the pan halfway through cooking.

Herb Oil

  1. 9

    Make Herb Oil

In a blender, combine fresh herbs and olive oil. Blend until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
